So just like the roses
Bright and attractive
The beauty so undeniable
Friends are like roses
Friends add colour and brightness
The reflection of beauty is seen and encapsulated in friendship
Friendship is a seed of future
Like the brightness of A Star
Like the radiance of the sun
Friends are such an illumination
Friends are gifts
Like the lions that move in a pride
You are stronger amidst your family
Friendship is a source of strength
Strength is only obtainable within the circle of right friendship
Life can get much better when we harness friendship
Gather and harness the opportunities on friendship
Friendship is like the light of sun, it can light the moon your fellowship can light-up the weak
Friendship is a gift
We must treat our friends with all commitment and reverence
Friends are like angels, they come to our aid when we least expect expect.
Value your friends
Time was when I had nothing, my rich friends fled and left me all alone, I accused them of pride, heck I even called them wicked
Time was, I had a lot, I fled from my friends who had nothing and did to them what I accused my rich friends of doing to me.
Time was when I was a child, I saw my father as a mean man, I said he maltreated my mother. I swore to myself that when I grow up, I will not allow anyone treat me unfairly.
Time came I grew up, I even got married. I perceived that my husband will maltreat me so I maltreated him first. I did to him what I accused my father of doing to my mother.
Time was when I had no job, I blamed my teachers for not teaching me well, I blamed my father for not sending me to school at a younger age, I blamed the Government for not providing the enabling environment.
Time came and I got a job but I did not really like my boss. He was always scolding me for coming late to work and for doing a shabby job. But it’s not my fault. My home is far from my work place and since I did not graduate from a good school I can’t really do much.
So you see, the problem is always out there and it’s always other peoples fault. We hardly accept any blame when things go wrong but when things go well, we take credit for it.
Would it were that I remained poor, I would still be humble , would it were that I did my job well, I would still have a job, would it were that I was nicer to my husband, I would still be married,
WOULD IT WERE THAT WE ACKNOWLEDGE OUR OWN FAULT.
Complex yet easy, intricate, complicated, puzzled yet straight. The picture is in your heart, Colour it, paint it, Yes the figure is in your heart
Model it out, mould it, Is from the outward to inward, outward then inward
You first receive a life you lost, perfect and blameless, Dead but now alive.
But you don’t stop there, remember that though the picture is inside you, you can’t see it until
You put in sufficient light ; to sight the image within. Light , illumination, vision, is what I call knowledge
Like a plain paper; white , spotless, can only be change in to book by the addition of a word after words, sentence upon sentence, paragraph upon paragraphs
knowledge is a building block for the builder, a place of cotton for the textile (scientist )
knowledge is light, he that found it can see. Get knowledge , pause it until the picture within is clear enough for moulding.
You are a product of the sum total of your knowledge.
But wisdom is a principal thing so get wisdom but in all your getting , get understanding which is a product of Knowledge.
Distinct and specific
People called it uniqueness
Different and outstanding
People called it uniqueness
Crafted and molded unique
Deeply within your being
With different colour and sizes of thread
Your heart and DNA was knitted into specifics
Encoded in your DNA is the amazing specification
Only you can be you
Your motions, voice, colour complexion and everything about you was carefully knitted out
You are unique
Your finger print, your DNA, your character, everything been knitted out distinct
Spend quality time with the programmer, until you have the blueprint from him
No friend, media, family or superstar has the password
The programmer has your password
He alone knows your rising, your movement and every step
Distinct, specific, different, outstanding and unique
This is you
You alone can be you.
There is a hole inside of me that makes me feel so empty, A hole that yarns to be filled,
It’s so deep that it makes me cry for help,Makes me want to go solo away from everyone,
My heart aches for this hole to be filled, Because in its fill is my highest expression of life,
Many came to fill it but left it with a greater vacuum, Much more bigger than it use to be,
It looks like I am in a dry and a thirsty land, A place devoid of life; absolute desert,
I hope you know that there is a hole that can’t be filled by any man? Not your Boo, Not your Bae, not your honey pie, nor your parents ,
There is this hole that lays in there, Every being was carved out to desire fulfillment.
In our journey to fulfillment, values must be added, Our heart craves for fellowship,This hole responds to deep fellowship, Therefore Love with every strand of you
Until the hole be full, do not relent.
So what happened?
Again I ask what happened,
How has it change ,Why did it changed?
Change though constant but questionable
So what happen and how has it change?
Slowly draining out, Non-turbulent stream
Laminar flow is like the release of life,
slowly fading away but too slippery to grasp
So we stood almost helpless watching
our very life fade away like the fleeting breadth
They said change is constant , so we released our
essence and co-values to change
The problem is that one of an undefined purpose,
We change with time, we never put our
defense system to work
Guard your heart means nothing to us
Never pondered on it and
when we hear statements like
WATCH IT! BE CAREFUL!
We just pretend not to hear
Engross in our unending misplaced concepts
all that matters to us is just living
If we can live even on the bad side of life,
we are at least okay
And we say ‘at least we are living’
May the gentle breeze of a
purposeful life, breath on us.
TODAY (part 2)
Here comes the continuation of today as promised.
The light source is the same but the intensity varies
The same sun shines but the cloud in the sky can shield the rays
So every days light intensity differs
Which makes today TODAY
There is summer and winter
There is heat and cold
But every day varies
Life is best live a day at a time.
You don’t make it better by living yesterday TODAY!
So up you arise and dare it.
Yesterday you tried, but today you can do IT.
You must improve on yesterday’s ideas, belief and mindset
Give today a CHANCE
The fact that today’s light intensity is different qualifies today to be TODAY.
Don’t give it a trial as usual : do it.
Don’t attempt it, execute it.
TODAY is not yesterday
TODAY is TODAY.
They say you come from just a mix.
That you were just by chance made up
By ink combined or light overlapped;
But you are not a temporary fix.
Adorns life forms on which we depend
To stand the heat and cold outside
Snowstorms unchecked, yet no frostbite
Hurricanes, typhoons, you won’t even bend.
Sun rays you use to give us strength
We come to you for shade and air
We take, you give with dutiful patience
Then run to you when sick and frail.
It must be why I wore you to train
To learn to live, and gulp the pain
To stand my ground for others to live
The way and manner they’ll sleep relieved.
Lust in the world of pleasing others and freezing in my own world of pain
Easing the pain of others but yet squeezing in my pain of Inconvenience
Meeting the needs of others
But yet pleading for just a little care,
Healing the pain of others but yet heaping my own pain.
Helping others except me
I love every other person except me.
Loving others was the simplest task to accomplish.
Then I realize I was wrong and guilty.
Guilty of what you may ask?
The law says love your Neighbour as your self.
Oh yes I came first not others,
Then I realize I can’t love others more than I love myself. I can’t take care of others while I bleed, it should be win win situation.
Then I raise my head and say father I am sorry.
Self love is all that matters.
You are the Home of Peace,
Though I met you while you were in dire need of a peace enforcer.
Had I met you in one piece,
I’d have dined upon your famous fish from a golden saucer.
Who dare say that you have lost it all!
For I see a vast stretch of fallow land beyond my unaided eyes,
With vegetative evidence of the fertile land growing tall
Beckoning on the cultivator to come back home alive.
Alive we wish they’ll all come back.
For in you a great future lies
For our progeny present and those unborn.
They need their inheritance back to join in life’s strives.
When shall the blasts stop,
And the copper shells disappear?
When shall your muddy remains be patched up,
And your roofs be thatched?
The large city still bubbles with silent hope.
She has remained resilient and refused to fall.
For to whom would we run,
If she doesn’t shelter us like the mother hen?
I see grains and tubers from your farmlands;
The great lake supporting life, while I play with its beach sands.
Those cowboys must roam the bushes freely again
And you will be the Home of Peace, this time without disdain.
