OUT THERE

time was, time came

Time was when I had nothing, my rich friends fled and left me all alone, I accused them of pride, heck I even called them wicked

Time was, I had a lot,  I fled from my friends who had nothing and did to them what I accused my rich friends of doing to me.

Time was when I was a child, I saw my father as a mean man,  I said he maltreated my  mother. I swore to myself that when I grow up,  I will not allow anyone treat me unfairly.

Time came I grew up,  I even got married. I perceived that my husband will maltreat me so I maltreated him first. I did to him what I accused my father of doing to my mother.

Time was when I had no job,  I blamed my teachers for not teaching me well, I blamed my father for not sending me to school at a younger age, I blamed the Government for not providing the enabling environment.

Time came and I got a job but I did not really like my boss.  He was always scolding me for coming late to work and for doing a shabby job. But it’s not my fault. My home is far from my work place and since I did not graduate from a good school I can’t really do much.

So you  see, the problem is always out there and it’s always other peoples fault. We hardly accept any blame when things go wrong but when things go well, we take credit for it.

Would it were that I remained poor,  I would still be humble , would it were that I did my job well,  I would still have a job,  would it were that I was nicer to my husband, I would still be married,

WOULD IT  WERE THAT WE ACKNOWLEDGE OUR OWN FAULT.

THE BIG HOLE

The Hole that crave to be filled.

There is a hole inside of me that makes me feel so empty, A hole that yarns to be filled,
It’s so deep that it makes me cry for help,Makes me want to go solo away from everyone,
My heart aches for this hole to be filled, Because in its fill is my highest expression of life,
Many came to fill it but left it with a greater vacuum, Much more bigger than it use to be,
It looks like I am in a dry and a thirsty land,  A place devoid of life; absolute desert,
I hope you know that there is a hole that can’t be filled by any man? Not your Boo, Not your Bae,  not your honey pie,  nor your parents ,
There is this hole that lays in there, Every being was carved out to desire fulfillment.
In our journey to fulfillment, values must be added, Our heart craves for fellowship,This hole responds to deep fellowship, Therefore Love with every strand of you
Until the hole be full, do not relent.
